Telephone exchange that does not fit the bill
THE residents of Mayur Vihar Phase III express their displeasure at the authorities neglecting some of their major problems. One of them is the absence of a telephone exchange where they can deposit their phone bills.
As of now the residents are required to go to a different locality, Mayur Vihar Phase-I, for depositing their telephone bills.
However, there is already a telephone exchange as well an extension counter in Phase-III, which takes only complaints and nothing else.

Opines Vijay Raina, president of the RWA, “We have to go to the Phase-I exchange and stand in long queues for depositing our bills but the authorities are apathetic to our problems.
Points out John Mathews, general secretary of the RWA, “When there is an exchange operating in our locality, why can’t the authorities arrange for depositing bills here.
